487 Reaper CHOP is a great all-around camshaft and Feuling's go-to for 4 1/2 stroke 114" and 117" looking for an aggressive bolt-in. Has that nasty CHOP idle sound while producing a wide powerband that the Feuling cams are known for. Responds very well to increased bore and/or compression, exhaust system and air cleaner. Use of performance valve springs is not required but may result in a quieter, smoother running valve train.

Requires large bore size, ported cylinder heads, ported intake manifold, high flow valves and a large throttle body. Aggressive camshaft requires high lift/high load valve springs, performance pushrods and lifters. High-flow air cleaner and triple stepped exhaust pipe are highly recommended. 3100 to 6650 rpm range.
