About the 2008 Harley-Davidson FLHR Road King
The 2008 Road King is a significant 'bridge' model, representing the final year of the classic touring frame before the 2009 redesign. It introduced major modern upgrades to the existing chassis, including a larger 6-gallon fuel tank, electronic throttle control (Fly-By-Wire), and a high-performance Brembo braking system. This year also marked Harley-Davidson's 105th Anniversary, celebrated with a limited-edition serialized trim featuring a distinct Copper and Vivid Black paint scheme.
