About the 2015 Harley-Davidson FLHX Street Glide

The 2015 Harley-Davidson FLHX Street Glide is a 'hot-rod' bagger that benefits from the Project Rushmore enhancements introduced a year prior. It features the High Output Twin Cam 103 engine, a redesigned Batwing fairing with a Splitstream vent to reduce head buffeting, and One-Touch saddlebag latches. As the standard trim, it offers a more stripped-down experience compared to the Special, serving as a popular platform for custom upgrades.

  • Infotainment System — Equipped with the Boom!™ Box 4.3 system (4.3-inch screen, no GPS) vs the 6.5GT (6.5-inch touchscreen with GPS) on the Special.
  • Rear Suspension — Uses traditional air-adjustable shocks vs the hand-adjustable premium emulsion shocks found on the Special.
  • ABS and Security — Reflex™ Linked Brakes with ABS and the H-D Smart Security System were optional on the Standard but standard on the Special.
  • Inner Fairing Finish — Features a matte/textured black inner fairing vs the gloss black painted inner fairing on the Special.
  • Fairing Skirt — The lower fairing skirt is chrome on the Standard and color-matched on the Special.
