Engine & Performance for the 2019 Harley-Davidson FLTRXS Road Glide Special

The 2019 Harley-Davidson FLTRXS Road Glide Special features Engine: Milwaukee-Eight 114 V-Twin, Displacement: 1868cc (114 cu in), Cooling: Air and Precision Oil Cooled. This trim includes Milwaukee-Eight 114 Engine — The Special trim received the 114ci engine as standard, while the base model retained the 107ci engine.; Blacked-out Finishes — Engine covers, exhaust, front forks, handlebars, and tank console are finished in black instead of chrome.. Owner note: The high torque of the 114 engine and the 800+ lb weight often results in rear tire life between 8,000 and 12,000 miles. Known concern: Engine Sumping — Early 2019 models may still have the older oil pump design; late-year 2019s received an updated pump that largely resolved this.. Learn more about this ride →
